Finally getting down with the final product!During week 8 class, our team faced a dilemma while reviewing our prototype. What are we ultimately trying to solve? By going through the process flow on how the app is to guide the user, we were split on what our core value proposition is. It was definitely a heated discussion on what we want our product to be. Are we just becoming like any other fitness apps? What are our differentiators? Do we provide week-long or month-long training plans or daily? We were torn because our interviews provided different directions as well. But our final consensus was that with AI built in the backend with enormous amounts of fitness data that we'll be collecting from the users, daily goals and daily recommendations make more sense than week-long or month-long training plans. What good are these long term plans if they don't adjust to your current fitness level? The daily recommendation will be driven by the data that the app collects from previous day's exercise regime and results and adjust real-time based on user's current physical level. That's more valuable to users than canned training plans, which are already provided by other fitness apps. YES! we got down to our differentiator and core value proposition that actually uses "facts" real-time and provide feedback to users.
